PiQo4 laser technology targets both large and small tattoo particles simultaneously, breaking them into tiny particles that are naturally removed by your body. The laser targets only the ink, and will not harm the surrounding skin. The versatility of the PiQo4 allows for precise treatment of varying particle sizes and tattoo colors. The Pico speed of the laser allows for better color clearance and faster results.

What does it treat?

This laser is great for treating a number of things. While the most common use is treating unwanted tattoos, it is also offers a great no-downtime option for skin rejuvenation similar to the IPL lasers.

What Should I Expect from the treatment?

Depending on the treatment we are doing, whether it be for tattoo removal or photorejuvenation, treated areas may swell somewhat and turn red. Some may blister and lesions will look darker before the skin heals and the lesion improves. Between treatments, be sure to keep the area out of the sun and covered.  Your provider will give you additional tips for care during your appointment.

Treatment Results:

All Tattoo removal treatments typically consist of a series of anywhere from 2-10 sessions, scheduled 6-8 weeks apart until the desired removal outcome is met. The number of treatments will depend on the kind and color of ink used, as well as the amount of coverage. Your provider can determine how long to wait between appointments based on progress made and your skin type. For the photofacial treatment there is minimal discomfort and no downtime from the laser.  The need for multiple treatments is necessary for desired results.
