So, in case you missed it last week, we have a new amazing procedure we’re doing known as PRP. PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plamsa and it can do some pretty awesome things!
Let’s re-cap. What is PRP? Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a procedure where the use of a small amount of one’s own blood is extracted, platelets are separated in a centrifuge, and then re-injected into the injured areas, or topically applied, releasing growth factors that promote natural tissue healing. Platelets are a natural source of a number of growth factors in their natural and biologically determined ratios.
What can this do for you? PRP is a treatment used for a number of things, but one of the major benefits is for treating areas of hairless. The results of treatment are varying. For hair loss, you may start to see results in about 4-8 months, after 3-4 treatments. Treatments are typically done 4 weeks apart.
PRP creates impressive results both as an isolated procedure or when incorporated into a treatment plan with hyaluronic acid fillers, neuromodulators and laser technology. We use the PRP topically to enhance the rejuvenation procedure being performed for optimal results!
Want to find out more about this procedure? Reserve your spot at our lunch and learn event on October 19th from 12pm-1pm at the WDC office.
