Introducing Juvederm® Vollure®

Posted on:

Allergan has done it again with Juvederm® Vollure®!  This hyaluronic acid based filler has just hit the market in the US, and we are one of the only practices in the country to currently offer it to you.  Today, we’re going to give you the scoop on what Juvederm® Vollure® does and what makes it different than any of the fillers out there.

First, like most fillers, Juvederm® Vollure® is a hyaluronic based filler.  Juvederm® Vollure® is used to smooth deep wrinkles for a refreshed look, as well as gently restoring natural-looking contours in the lower face.  A commonly used area to treat is the nasolabial folds, as well as restoration of volume loss in other areas.  You get immediate results following the treatment with minimal downtime.  You may experience some mild swelling and potentially bruise, but this is common with any filler out there.  Vollure® uses the Allergan Vycross technology that is formulated with an innovative combination of low and high molecular weight, which improves the cross-linking efficiency of HA (Hyaluronic Acid) chains. This more effective cross-linking allows for a lower concentration of HA to be used, which results in less swelling. The Vycross technology delivers an ultra-smooth gel, which results in a natural look and feel, as well as improved duration.

What sets Juvederm® Vollure® apart from other fillers on the market?  Not only does it present with smooth, natural looking results, but it lasts significantly longer than other fillers.  Juvederm® Vollure® has been studied to last up to 18 months, where other traditional fillers are typically 6-9 months! We have always loved the line of innovative Juvederm® products and Juvederm® Vollure® is no different.

We know there are so many fillers on the market that confusing can me an understatement, but let us help guide you to your facial rejuvenation goals!  We always offer complimentary cosmetic consults, so don’t ever hesitate to set one up for more information and a tailored plan for your needs!
